Booking information
The activity centre is available to hire by other scout and guide groups, charities, organisations and members of the public when it is not in use by the Ollerton Scout and Guide groups.
The activity centre includes a large hall with access to a fully equipped kitchen and a smaller hall. We are DDA compliant with access for all with an induction hearing loop, full access toilet and shower.
There is a large grass area and wooded glade to the front of the building including space for open fires.
Car parking is available for up to 20 cars
The fees from the hire are used to maintain the building and to provide equipment and activities for the units we run.
Hire Fees:
Public Hire:
Bookings by the hour £20.00 per hour
Day rate (8am—4pm) £150
Children’s party 4 hour booking £80 (including set up and clean up time)
Evening party (6pm—11.15pm) £90 plus £50 refundable deposit) (including set up and clean up time)
A 10% deposit will be required on booking followed by the full balance at least two full weeks before the booking date.
Scout and Guide Group Hire Fees:
Guide or Scout day or evening event £20
Sleep over/camp fees For District/Division groups £3/pppn
Out of area £4/pppn
Cancellation policy:
Should you need to cancel before your booking he following will apply:
Should you cancel at least two weeks prior to your booking you will be charged 50% of your deposit
Should you cancel within two weeks of your booking you will be charged for 50% of your full hire fee
Should you cancel within72 hours of your booking you will be charged the full hire fee
In exceptional circumstances you may be eligible for a full refund. The activity centre executive committee will determine what are exceptional circumstances.
Should the executive committee need to cancel your booking the full hire fee will be returned.

Small Hall - tables and chairs are available for use in this area.
Dimensions 5m x 9m
Tables and chairs are available in each hall.

Kitchen - The kitchen area includes a

- Serving hatch into the large hall

Access to wifi is available on request and in agreement with the executive committee

Large grass playing area suitable for small ball games, bouncy castle and tents.

Fenced off wildlife garden with pond. Suitable for minibeast hunting and pond dipping
The site is surrounded by security fencing.
